This is long past when you needed it, but I was desperate from nausea and vomiting a few days ago- and then, I read right here on this site that it was dehydration, so I ate a tiny bit of pink salt, which I had at home, dipping a moistened finger into a teaspoon, sucked on that, followed by tap water (immediate relief!), did it again on the hour six or seven times and stuck to tap water until all the nausea passed, then went back to distilled water.
