Oh my- this is like reading my life story! I've been to the doctor twice about palpations. I had an EKG and Echo and worn a heart monitor for 30 days (this was about 4-5 years ago). Then I felt ok and now BAM they are back. I am on birth control (patch) and I do consume caffeine and I take an Excedrin migraine daily (325 pain reliever/55 caffeine). I try to keep it to one a day, but sometimes when a migraine kicks in- I take more. I actually have a doctors appt today so I plan on talking again about it.

I was taking OTC for my acid reflux (zantac and nexium) and then the palpations came again- although it was about the same time as I started birth control. I was having severe heart skips and palpations- and all the while I was just sitting still and not doing anything.

I hope you find answers ( I didn't check the date on the forum)
