Hoping for help from those who have done Bill Thompson's and Ted's protocol for candida...What am I doing wrong?!

I have been doing the alkalizing protocol and supplements with Turpentine for the past couple of weeks...I don't know if there is any improvement in my systemic candida, but I got weird side affects.

First, I am in menopause and started hot flashes...bit time! This coordinated with the start of this protocol!

Second, my nails are so brittle and break so easy. They were so long and strong.

Third, my carb/sugar cravings are so intense...its so hard to not eat ANY carbs or dessert once a week when we get out!

The only deviation from protocol was the zinc...it didn't come in time so I just started it.

History: Overweight by 50#, Prolactinoma, Thyroid tumor and nodules. Low energy. No depression.
