Has anyone tried systemic steroids (like prednisone)? Had any luck? My dermatologist said it's an option. I tried topical steroids (betaderm) and it made my lips worse. My lips are like..white and scale-y. I'm also allergic to nickel and have to have my permanent retainers removed.
