I was wondering if anyone has had a bad reaction to a low dose of KI. It seems that most reactions are to Lugols, which is effectively Potassium Triiodide after the I2 bonds to the KI.
The molecule is K-I-I-I in that bonding order.
This is an unnatural compound.
Who is it that says Humans need both forms of Iodine, I2 and Iodide? And then why do they recommend one unmentioned form, KI3?
I2 is a gas, so in nature we might inhale small amounts near the coast, but we would never consume it. The LD50 for Iodides are ten times higher and Iodides are found in foods.
Is anyone willing to defend the essentiality of I2? I think Dr. Brownstein is just making shit up.
