I don't have an answer to your question but I am really interested to hear about it if you find the answer. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and did an 18-day fast last year, during which almost all of the pain went away. I had a flare-up four days into refeeding. Two of my fingers healed during the fast and have not become inflamed again since, but I don't really understand this because the disease is systemic...so if I have it I have it. I don't know why it doesn't go back into my fingers, unless the many drugs I'm on are just keeping it from spreading there.

Anyway, I was wondering how many fasts you have done and for how long? I was told that it might take another long fast for me after the one I completed last year, so I'm curious whether you've already gone that route and still have not maintained the healing.
