100 mg twice a day Is the standard I weigh 200 pounds . Some people half my weight used 50 mg twice a day and it worked just as well. Doxy has a long half life and is one of the strongest tetracycline ,which is why it is used for treatment for bacteria like anthrax and mrsa.
