pancreatitis presents that way. pain in the upper left quadrant that often radiates through to the back. It can be caused from a blockage in the gallbladder where it goes to the pancreas, but can be unrelated often. I'd have it checked. Pancreatitis is dangerous. The treatment is nothing by mouth. Not even water. A clinic can give you IV's til you are better. Also pain meds via IV. Don't play with it. It can be fatal. Enzymes will be checked til they get low enough.
