Cat. Depression is essentially feeling lethargic and unmotivated. It can feel like being tired but if something really interesting happens--house is on fire or naked girl runs across the room you amazingly find plenty of energy.

Low noradrenaline/ephiephrine apparently is involved.

Norep and dopamine are two of the catecholamines. Typical meds for ADHD affect those neurotransmitters.
