Hey guys. I am a 21 year old male. Definitely come under the category of obese. My height is 5 feet 7 and a half inches and weight is 94 kgs. I was diagnosed with fatty liver three years ago and was asked to lose weight that time only. But due to the lifestyle which I was having, I just couldn't. I have had hairfall since my teens. I plan on doing hair transplant this coming year but that's a different story altogether. I have had severe Depression for a few years now and I developed an OCD problem(Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) as well one and a half years back which has affected my concentration in a big way. I have been going to a counselor for some time now and have been taking medcines for both my Depression and OCD. One of the reasons for me being obese is definitely because I eat too much and that to junk due to my depression. I have been taking homeopathic medicine as well for my depression/ocd. I recently decided to do a 30 to 40 day water fast. I have never done a fast before in my life, although I did lose about 24kgs in 4 months when I was in 9th grade due to crash dieting(which I ended up gaining all back but that was after I changed my lifestyle in 12th grade and later).What I wanted to know was whether or not Water Fast is recommended for me?I have a very strong will power. If I say to myself that I have to do something, I almost always do it. I wanted to know whether or not medicines will have any negative impact on me doing a water fast?Keep in mind I am taking homeopathic medicines as well whose globules contain very little amount of sugar. I don't want to do it just for the weight loss, but also to cleanse my body. And I heard it really helps with the Depression as well. Any help would be appreciated.
