What you feel is die off. Make sure you detox properly while you are increasing the dose. I also started with 50mg a day and i was very sick. I had lots of shit to clear out, they were also in my eyes. It took me a few weeks before these symptoms got better and reached the current dose, now i am taking 800mg per day (half a pill every 6 hrs). It does cause bad nausea if you overdose, but that is about 1600mg per day (i had this incident). When you feel a little better, you can increase the dose a bit. I always increased with a quarter of a pill, and i would get die off right away. But slowly you will make it. Dont force yourself. Protect your liver.
