Don't stop the continuous nasal spray until they stop existing plus at least 2 weeks. It takes that long for the eggs to hatch.

I'm laughing because I too have a Black-Walnut tree in my back yard I have been trying to kill for 20 years. I went out 2 years ago and actually apologized to the tree. Took the poison oak off of it and trimmed it up. It was almost dead when I realized how valuable it is. It kindly forgave me with a bumper crop of nuts the next year.

Here is how you make the stuff...GBW juice.
Use the greenest nuts you can. I try to pick them when they are close to falling on their own. If they are more than 1/3 black they are too far gone.

Rinse them in cold water and clean off any debris. Boil distilled (must be distilled) water and add the walnuts (Just enough to cover them) while it is boiling. Turn off heat after about 2 minutes, cover and let sit until cool. This is the hard part. If they sit to long they will oxidize but you also want to get as much tannin as you can out of them. Strain it all through cheese cloth or a clean towel. (It will be a dark brown towel when you are done.) The juglone stains everything so don't wear you best cloths. If you did it well it will be more green than black. It turns black as it oxidizes. You want green but the black will work.

I then fill mason jars up half way with the cooled solution. Add Everclear or other 151 vodka to fill the jar. This preserves the solution. Put the lid on tightly and place in a cool dark place or refrigerate. It does loose potency over time. That is why I freeze some of the nuts.

The solution can be used topically on the skin avoiding the eyes. Can be used in an enema or drink some for for parasites. The article I have provided the link for describes all the uses of GBW. It is even used to treat syphilis. I use my screw ups to kill weeds. Nothing can live with GBW applied. The tannin is so strong the tree roots will kill anything you try to grow around them.

So be kind to your tress. You have a untapped Gold Mine there. GBW sells for 8-12 dollars a one ounce bottle on-line. Also, the wood is very prized by furniture makers. Don't forget how you found all this out when you are shipping hundreds of bottles a week. Please pay it forward.
