I disagree about it being a temporary fix because l-glutamine cannot destroy a pathogen and the bacteria prevents healing of the digestive system and the leakiness of gut. It is how it survives by taking advantage of the human body.

BTW Low stomach acid Hypochlorhydria is a symptom of the bacterial infection and not a symptom of leaky gut. Increased Intestinal Permeability Syndrome aka Leaky gut is the result of that bacterial infection. BTW2 Candida likes to occupy the same biofilm as the gram negative bacteria because they are both compatible. That is why so many people have so many problems with Candida. They do not treat the cause! Antifungals do not work on bacteria and it is the bacteria which maintains the biofilm which protects Candida.
