Different brands of probiotics have different strains or amounts of bacteria. And every person has varying gut bacteria. So, it may be that one brand of probitoic works better for one person while it does nothing for another depending on current gut bacteria. But I can't say this is the cure since no probiotic pill has healed my lips over the years. I don't know if I was taking the right one for my gut since I read how one person's lips improved with a probiotic liquid drink (I think it was called bio K). Hence, liquid form may be a more effective version than the pill form.
