I can't comment on whether your fillings are causing your urine to turn dark and foamy..as I am very new to mercury issues -was reffered here from another forum.
I canhttps://www.davita.com/gfr-calculator/
comment on what your urine might indicate as I have stage 3 chronic kidney disease. The foam is usually protien spilling from the kidney and is a sign of renal impairment. The dark color often indicates dehydration and kindye impairment in that your urine is abnormally conentrated. The back pain can also be indicative of kidney issues, although not every one with kidney issues gets that sort of pain -I never have.
I would strongly suggest that you get a renal panel done - both a blood draw to measure creatinine clearance (the common method to measure kidney clearance)...as well as a urine collection, so that the amoutn of protien in it can be measured (as well as uric crystals, keotones, bacteria ect.) Your primary care physician can order these tests for you.
When you get your results, please make sure that you get a copy of your labs and plug your creatine number into a GFR calculator, since kindey function is dertermined not only by creatine amount but also by age, gender, and ethnicity. You can search online for a GFR calculator. DaVita has a god one.
The lab range is not relevant as it usually will not flag anything until stage # kidney disease.
Discussyour results with your doctor, and if your creatinine indicates that you are anything less than stage one/normal, as for a refferal to a nephrologist.
Kidney function can be temproarily impaired by many things including diet and medication...but it can als become permenant damage over time if utreated. Also sometimes there are acute cases where the kidneys are damage irreversably. It is important for you to distinguish if your urine indicate reverable kindey impairement, or premanent (called 'chronic kidney disease).
Don't mean to scare you...just suggesting that you get a kidney panel to rule out kdiney issues. You should also share your concerns about you fillings with your doctor. Good luck :)
