Lip balms are stodgy.. so they need smearing on.. which means damaging the lip lining.. this is one reason I dropped aquaphor because it's got the consistency of almost dried slime.. it needs rubbing and pushing .. whereas coconut oil at warmer temperatures can be dabbed on.. given a little heat it's almost a liquid when applied .. the consitency of water.
