I'm 14 and have ec and it definitely has impacted me socially. Going to school is a legal requirement although you can do homeschooling. i still socialise with my friends and talk but occasionally when talking to ppl who im not friends with i dont look at their faces as im afraid they will stare at my lips. Whenever i think ppl are looking at my lips i will turn my face away.
Anyways, i still enjoy the activities that i once liked (gaming) as it really does help me ignore my problem and have some fun. However it depresses me quite a lot as it feels extremely hopeless. I know i will never lose my personality or who i am as a person, however it can obviously take away my happiness.
