I got most of my gains from detox in the first two years. Only a few lesser improvements came since then.
Bone density and kidney numbers normalized. I was doing detox to try to avoid ending up in a wheelchair due to a broken back. My leg had already broken at age 43 without any contact while just playing badminton with little nieces!
food sensitivities are reduced.
There were lots of little weird issues that have greatly improved or are gone, for example, I feel more masculine and less effeminate.
The strangest, least expected effect has been on my personality. I've since heard many times in the detox groups that people became more introverted as they became sick and less-so after detox. That has certainly been my experience. The difference is enough that it has caused me to question my suitability for my career. I am now much more comfortable in customer-facing situations.
I'm off all medications except the monthly or so weekend round of detox for lead that comes out of bone rather slowly.
Sensitivities to certain odors and acid reflux that I had for many years disappeared over time after I started taking supplements containing more generous amounts of minerals. that was a few years before starting detox.
I still take a handful of supplements. Some are preventative, others are for improved performance, others allow me to not need a low dose of medication for inattentive ADD.
After 15+ yrs of below average health, my health is certainly in the middle third of the normal range for my age. I doubt that it is below average. However even with the supplements the catecholamine issues are still a challenge and limiting factor in my life and career.
