I decided not to go for psyllium-bentonite because I read about this having a bad effect in the long term. Both psyllium and Bentonite tend to stick to the colon walls and cause further obstruction and malfunction, if I remember correctly. Andreas Moritz also advises against them.

I do, however, occasionally take a teaspoon or two of organic psyllium husk with water if I have had a heavy meal that I suspect may be difficult to digest, but only occasionally. Usually, for better bowel condition I do enemas and an occasional castor oil cleanse.

For my three Liver Flushes I did 2 litre water enemas before and after, and a series of 10 enemas over 2-3 months before I began flushing. I think I made a mistake in assuming that this would be enough of a bowel cleanse. After I started flushing I got bad lymphatic congestion in my head, which made my eye condition worse. Recently I've done 3 colonics which should have cleared the toxins from the flushing, if they were there in the first place in the colon.
