TCBZ can be a bit dangerous if you have a systemic fluke infection.

If your infection is liver, ducts, TCBZ is a 2 day treatment that is very fast.

Systemic infections, where there are neural symptoms, TCBZ should be avoided, the kill rate is to fast.

I had systemic blood fluke, they actually came out of the skin. I and others with heavy and complicated infections used Praziquantel.

If you suspect other parasites, use caution. The CDC approved TCBZ very fast, and I suspect they did so with limited data.
