the scientific method can't be corrupted since it is a method, a way to think a way to experiment, a way to observe, a way to interpret.

But yes some scientists can be corrupted.

The strength of the the scientific method is that anybody can become a scientist by thinking and acting in a certain way and by sharing his results with the world (so that others can replicate the experiment and confirm or contradict the results/interpretations.

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about (the collective unconscious confirmed that)
