Personally, I would use caution. While there has not been any reported eye damage from zapping near the eyes, I consider it to be a possibility and a serious issue. I would probably consider using the beam ray.

I have heard many times that zapping increases the potency or effectiveness of both herbs and drugs. Otherwise, there has not been any study that I have seen to validate this.
