You have hit the nail with ginseng, because i have been convinced that with such infections that herb must be avoided. Some herbal practitioners say ginseng type of herbs will also affect the pathogens the same way, ie energizing. Do you know something about that? Because in the beginning, before knowing what i have, i took ashwagandha for a month and it made me sleep like a baby and i had so much energy. But i stopped because my infection of course never got better. Never attempted to take any type of ginseng since then, not even a tea.
