There are many things that can have small effects, the combination of them might be quite significant or even more effective than just using HC. That was a close freiend's experience.

Pregnenolone, progesterone cream, adrenal cortex glandular, licorice, adaptogens, B5, vitamin C, HC cream, etc.

People would be wise to do their homework since messing with hormones is tricky.

Then there's the angle of reduced stress due to lifestyle, meditation, dietary changes, maybe magnesium, liver support, GABA, etc.
