Do you wake up with any gunk though? Because now I do. I'm not sure if the Bepanthen is to blame, and yes exactly the same one as Ibinns used from Germany.

Well 100% normal-looking is still different from 100% healed so I won't say a word until I'm sure it's healed but when lines return, no weird feeling, not getting white when wet, no flakes when drying means at least something good is going on with my outer lips, right? That's why I'm still hopeful. I saw these changes when I started taking the same exact probiotics, toothpaste, mouthwash and ointment Ibinns used. My lips don't look ballooned anymore either. I haven't tried oil pulling or anything yet though. Keep in mind that this is the outer area on the lower lip that we're talking about, because my upper outer lip has always been great. The inner lips are a different story, sadly :'(

I don't really know what to feel about the Bepanthen because it does feel great overall and my lips look pretty normal compared to Aquaphor but I really don't like its drying effect because I now wake up with some white gunk which is annoying because I never had it before and only noticed it when I started doing Ibinns' treatment so I'm not sure if Bepanthen is exactly to blame. Also sometimes if I apply and press down the Bepanthen some buildup would come off revealing raw red skin or flesh or whatever which I absoultely also never had with Aquaphor.

I'll give it another long run and if my inner lips are still drying out weirdly and some skin coming off I'll probably switch back to Aquaphor or try Vaseline this time.

EDIT: So I got paranoid and shone a light onto my lips, seems like the UPPER lip inflammation has gone down, meaning I don't see tiny blood vessels anymore but damn the lower just horrified me. Yes SOME parts of my outer lips are pretty much healed but overall the redness, inflammation, tiny blood vessels whatever are still there and some of the crusts were actually yellowish. This is so fukin sad Jesus Christ. Ibinns said he also had this and did this too with the lights and blood vessels all that but obviously from his last update it is all clear and normalized now. I think I need to keep the buildup on and just let it come off naturally as opposed to scrubbing some off no matter how gentle I think it is.
