That is why as christians we take all scripture as a whole...not just one verse or two.

The problem here is that most of us have not been around each other when the "change" took place. You have not seen mine and I have not seen yours. But since we have all been here for many years together, we do check to see improvement in one another. Signs that we are maturing in Christ as time goes on. Hopefully we are in some areas...but there will always be more to give to Jesus and ask Him to help us with. Willful sinning is a different thing in my book. Especially willful sinning without repentance.
