Hydrocortisone is a corticosteroid, and will merely suppress the symptoms, and will never cure the actual problem.

What you should use is a small amount of evening primrose oil, which can be expressed from a capsule and applied directly to the affected area.

Evening primrose oil is naturally anti-inflammatory and will treat eczema and or other inflammatory skin conditions quite effectively.

having said that, it is always important that you look carefully at the other factors which can affect your immune system, eg if you consume vitamin c containing foods daily.
