it's my opinion that silver cannot distinguish good or bad bacteria.

However, any good bacteria killed in the process can be offset by taking in some good probiotics like Yogurt.

While there may be some loss of good bacteria, there may be always a potential side effect since even doctors medications have side effects.

But most people are willing to put up with the side effect to get rid of a far worse disease.

Since modern Antibiotics are now worthless because viruses and bacteria have developed immunity against them, scientist are NOW using silver in their Antibiotic solutions. Which, if silver were detrimental to all organisms, it would kill the Antibiotics in their newer medications which they ONLY dispense in hospitals for emergencies and surgeries:
