Hi, Is there and accurate HSV1/HSV2 test which gives you a viral load figure, similar to the HIV ones?

So far, all I found were antibodies tests, and those cannot tell you whether a particular substance is actually working or not.

The only way to see if you're actually going in the right direction, is to verify if the viral load goes down at regular intervals, while taking a particular substance.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
