If we humans' digestive tracts are frugivorish and nearly identical to those of primates which they are, then we shouldn't have to worry about fats or any nutriets for that matter as long as we are getting enough raw fruit.

Think about gorillas. Do they worry about fat intake? I don't think so. But they don't get much of it either and they do very well eating mostly fruit.
