Well, Colloidal Silver is good for external wounds. It isn't much good for anything else I've found and drinking it made my blood pressure go up, so it would be helpful to prevent infection while the hole heals, but drinking it won't help much beyond a Nettie pot could do, rinsing a couple times of day, is my opinion.
