My understanding of the bible says that "whosoever will". Which by my understanding of John 3:16 tells us that the power of what Jesus did on the cross covers anyone ..if they will believe. I also believe that God allows us to have freewill to choose Him, not that He chooses only certain people to be saved. That one part of my belief colors my way of seeing the negative in how this type of thread destroys the church as a whole and anybody who may have wanted to come to the Lord but was discouraged. Mainly because I believe a person must make a decision to follow Christ when He calls.

When we read the scripture in Job where God told Job: “Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge? Not saying His plans as a whole are hampered, but when it comes to the salvation of individuals and their freewill, satan many times uses christians to obscure His plans because we don't always have God's full knowledge of it. People get lost when they can't see the plan correctly.

You on the other hand believe it's all predestined that a person will be saved (or not) and they will come around eventually, so apparently you don't think all of this bashing will interfere with that since their name must be already written in the book of life before the person was ever born. It seems with this line of reasoning that the bashing would run off only the unsaved people and only the truly saved will be drawn to it. Where are they? The saved? Apparently it's not me or anybody else here.

You know that I believe in getting to Truth and exposing darkness...however, because of your different belief than mine, exposing and debating in the manner that goes on here is not a threat to your belief, only to mine. I believe it discourages people from believing. It sure doesn't uplift a believer.

Those that are truly "His" are those that endure to the end while believing in Him. That can be a death bed believer or even a thief on the cross. Those are His sheep. Woe to those who makes any of these little ones stumble.
