Very interesting images. There are definitely a few places that look like possible cavitations. However personally I find it hard to see them from cone beam CT, the resolution is just not good enough. It's hard to tell the difference between an actual cavitation,and just an area of low bone density, or just the scan itself.

Hospital CT is much better, since they fire that much more radiation at you. Can get much clearer images.

In my quest for resolution of health. I had both CT, and thermal imaging done on my face. The CT showed basically nothing. Thermal imaging, probably showed I had a problem on one side of my face, but no where near accurate enough to pin point any actual defect in the bone. I also had an MRI, and that showed the defect in a lot of detail. Detailed enough where you could measure it down to the nearest millimeter.

If you have an area which you suspect is bad, just get the dentist to drill into it. I've also had this done. If there's a cavitation there, there is normally only a small amount of bone to break through. In fact with one of my cavitations, simply pushing on it, was enough to break into it.
