Thank you for your suggestions. The genetic specialist works with me on my genetic defects- mostly MTHFR issues but hormonal issues as well and we are about to do the organic acid test... She is trying to get to the bottom of things currently and seems fixed on ruling out gut issues such as SIBO. She wants me to do a stool test, just trying to only get testing that my insurance can cover from here on out. I have worked with her for two months and I would say I have spent around $1,000, which includes the hormone testing.
