Okay, I just bought the Huda Clark book. That's a big book to read and I'll do so at my own pace.

I have heard about EFT times and times again. I tried it in the past for addictions and compulsive behaviors and even worked with an EFT practitioner "specialized" in my situation and he claimed to have lots of success with the first sessions and well giving that I wasn't responding, he went and grabbed someone else help.

He was doing muscle testing via skype, giving that I wasn't remotely close to him. he was telling me how my behaviors might be some entity attached to me, like a past ancestor, or some thing I can't remember.

I tried it several times for myself and back then I was big into the law of attraction and just kept on trying to help myself on that spiritual path. When I found out none of that "crap" worked for me, I just went my own way and did what worked for me.

I stop seeing my compulsive behavior as a problem, stop worrying about it and live my own life. Then one day it resurfaced big time and I thought to go see my therapist again(a different one and not EFT) and I thought "I'm I going to go waste money again when it didn't work in the past" and this time I just said, screw this, I don't need anyone, I just need myself. And I've had no issue with this ever since, oh I still get compulsive behaviors, who doesn't, but it doesn't rule my life any more.

All I'm trying to say is, I heard about EFT so often and even after long giving up, it comes back up every so often, yet I never seen it to work for me. Not saying it doesn't work but I never saw the results for myself and it makes me reticent to try again. it reminds me of urine therapy. no matter how much urine I stick up my throat or my ass, I don't see any difference.
