Hey man, finally got my Aquaphor.

I have some newly overgrown white scabs that if lited up, has fresh skin underneath. I can clip some off but obviously the whole scab won't come off (Not really huge but noticeable). I am not yet decided on trying out HC and I haven't decided to use Aquaphor just yet because I want to hear people's opinions and advices first before blindly slathering them on.

Would it be better to exfoliate the whole lips first so they are raw and fresh? The only way I know how to "exfoliate" is to aggressively rub off the lips with a towel, lol!

Also what are your thoughts on the "lip licking + moisturizer method"? I think some people here do that with aquaphor.
