NH, can you extrappolate more on the action/mechanisim of Ca/Mg inhibiting enzymatic activity?
Do you mean Ca/Mg can alter how chyme mixes with pancreatic excretion, Fx by altering the acidity of the stomach content and inhibiting the signals to the liver and pancreas to excrete bile (alkiline substances) and produce enzymes?
If Ca/Mg supplementation outside of mealtimes can inhibit enzymatic processes/get in the way of production, I'd like to know.
For other readers- stomach acidity is vital to good digestion and getting the pancreas and liver bile flow to work efficiently. Chyme is the mix of broken-down food and stomach acid. Calcium and Magnesium (Ca and Mg) are alkiline minerals and can potentially neutralize stomach acid.
