Honey isn't going to cure EC. Instead you can try using Mupirocin 2% ointment applied topically to the lips three times a day ALONG WITH
Magic Mouthwash (a combination suspension of nystatin (an antifungal)/dexamethasone (an anti-inflammatory)/tetracycline (an antibiotic)/water) swish for 1 minute in the mouth and spit out four times a day.

There has been a report of this working in one case of EC after use for 2 weeks.
