I totally understand on all issues. As far as the R.R.Y goes, as long as you take 100mg's of CoQ10 2x/day, you may just side-step any potential negative symptom. I'm just throwing that out there but I'm sure you are aware of coQ10 and statins, as you seem pretty educated. And from how you describe your situation, you might still react just by inhibiting the liver enzyme HMG-CoA. Never know, may be worth a test-run with it. Dr. E
