Also do you pick your lips? If so, you need to stop this. An antidepressant will not fix the underlying cause of your exfoliative cheilitis, and people on antidepressants typically develop a chemical dependency on such drugs.

You need to have strict oral hygiene but don't use a mouthwash as this kills off the good bacteria in your mouth and leave you more susceptible to infection.
