Can I use diet coke instead of apple juice to soften liver/gallbladder stones?

I know it's not ideal, but I can't manage the Sugar in apple juice, and I don't think I did well with the malic acid in the past.

I'm doing a flush this sunday and I have some diet coke on hand. Does that soften stones?
