"But what does it mean to you when Christ says he will lose none of those he is given?"

It means none who come to God are lost. I don't care what your Christian faith is, it doesn't necessarily mean your lost. That being said, it does not detract from the point that the Catholic Church is the true church. It is not mutually exclusive. How many times can you read the words of Jesus and not get the point?

That being said your chances of being saved in the Catholic Church are far greater because of the sacraments within it, and the grace it extends coming from the authority given it by God.

"I'm pretty sure there was a lot more than that they were doing wrong. "

I am pretty sure there has been wrong stuff happening within the Catholic Church since its inception. Man is constantly falling into sin.

It doesn't mean you go and usurp the Authority Given by God and go make your own church. You think the Protestant faiths are perfect? There is so much scandal in the Protestant churches that I would need a 200000 square foot library to contain it all

That being said there is a lot of Beauty and Goodness which comes from both the Catholic and Protestant faiths because they have their foundation in Jesus. Look at the schools, hospitals, missions... How many gave their lives to God for the sake of their brothers.

"And I don't think Luther made up his own bible or destroyed the sacrament of marriage."

You should know your faith and what your sacraments are if you are going to try and defend it. But here I did your homework for you. In this link you will see what Lutheran sacraments are, notice that marriage is not a sacrament.

Again here is more homework done for you. 7 books were removed from the bible to make the Protestant bible. More would have been taken from the New Testament that disagreed with luthers view... But the Protestant backlashed at the thought and did not go ahead with it.

"One of the two "pillars" of the Protestant Reformation (sola scriptura or "the Bible alone") in part states that nothing can be added to or taken away from God's Word. History shows therefore that Protestants are guilty of violating their own doctrine."

"And that's the problem. The magisterium is said to be infallible (whatever, the popes and bishops have contradicted each other even) and the people are told they cannot understand the scriptures without them (forget about the Holy Spirit being our guide to understanding scripture) and this is how they deceive the people and control them."

The Magesterium uses tradition of the church to interpret scripture or you wind up with apostasy and heresy that has plagued the church through out the ages such as Arianism. There is no such thing as multiple truths, there is only truth. Otherwise you start getting into relativism which is a quality of atheism. Coming into scripture and interpreting it for yourself can lead to many problems. Especially if you do not have the proper context to read it. The Catechism which is backed up by thousands of years of scrutinous theology, gives the proper context to read scripture.

Many say it's the Holy Spirit guiding them, only to create rifts and problems because it's not the Holy Spirit but their own Pride. And then in typical fashion amoung the Protestant churches they divide... And continue to divide... Until there are 30000 of them like today.

As for the Popes, Bishops, and cardinals infighting over scripture... This is nothing new. That being being said Catholics don't split like Protestants do every time there is a disagreement over scripture. They will hold a synod or a council to discuss and resolve the matter. Much like the recent synod on the family.
