This is my first attempt at a 40 day fast. I tried the 10 day version last year, crashed on day 4. But I am really determined to do it this time.

I recently moved to NYC, and I've been using food to alleviate lonliness and fear of moving forward. I'm hoping I can form new, healthier habits while cleansing and KEEP IT UP after it's all over. Any success stories from people starting from a similar place?
