I put one drop activated in 1 ounce of distilled water in a glass dropper bottle and put one drop of that or two drops in each nostril. I have not had any discomfort at all doing it that way. I also use that same concentration in my eyes, and there is some discomfort for a few seconds but it usually quickly passes.
