Ok, cut your hand and think positive thoughts and see what happens. (you may feel good mentally but your hand won't regrow)

I am all for having a positive attitude and being optimist but i am also for staying realistic about what is likely possible or likely not possible.
Being open minded is ok but believing that everything is possible is the same as being delusional and stupid.
