That's great that the tech has developed. I'm certian Dr. Clark would be thrilled! She was very adept at using one but always people love to monkey around and make things better. :) How can you tell? Is it something in the tone?

And if you notice, it not a device any American person makes, or that we eve hear of. I'm sure some alphabet soup agency goes full postal on who ever tries. It can't be the FDA because it isn't a medical device. I should have brought the sycrometer up long ago--I confess I can be quite the fluffhead. I just sorta forgot why I didn't doubt what she said. :(

And because the poison had to be subtle, they needed to use something well known but not obvious and already present in a human body. And needless to say a lack of volunteers to do taste testing made that rather difficult. So rather than something unknown and traceable and they really wanted her dead from 'cancer' (caused by cadmium which the new poisons might not), they went with something her cook could use easily.
