Doing a Bowel Cleanse and one or more Liver Flushes might be a good first step. If he tolerates those and his symptoms stabilize, you might consider a more aggressive cleanse. If he has trouble with the 12 hour fast required by the liver cleanse, he shouldn't consider a Master Cleanse.

The liver is deeply involved in Sugar metabolism. Since he is showing early signs of Sugar control problems, flushing the liver might help him stabilize his Sugar levels. Also eating primarily foods low on the glycemic index will keep him off the sugar roller coaster.

The Magnesium in the Liver Flush relaxes the smooth muscles in the body -- those that control the bile ducts as well as those in the heart. It would be interesting to monitor his BP while doing the Epsom Salts prior to the flush to see if his BP drops. If so, he might try taking a Mg supplement on a daily basis.

Final thought, high BP is often associated with high cholesterol. The liver also controls lipid levels, primarily through bile production, so a flush could help there as well.
