My symptoms went away in a day and a half without doing anything, although occasionally the pain comes back for a few moments, mildly.

I am drinking the kidney tea by Andreas Moritz which should hopefully help.

I haven't been able to find the time to read more than the article you posted. Thank you for this information. I did not know about SO2 in dates. Do you eat any dried fruit at all? I cannot get any organic dry fruit in my area except raisins.
