I've found a number of sources which say that flaxseed oil is a short-chain fatty acid, and I've also found sources which say it is a long-chain fatty acid. Only one source says that it's a medium-chain fatty acid. Absurdly, each of these sources is an M.D. I would be grateful if someone had solid, relliable information on this seemingly simple question. Links or references would also be appreciated.
