And after talking to my sweetie, the scientifical guy, I think you're missing the biggest lesson of all. Boron is a HEAVY METAL. Worse than lead or cadmium!. To ingest it is sheer idiocy. Might as well chew on an old filling, it's less toxic. Stop trying to trick people into making themselves sick!
